Surreal Paintings Of Dream-Like Worlds

Surreal Paintings Of Dream-Like Worlds

Polish artist Jacek Yerka was born in 1952. The two of his mothers and fathers are artists, so he grew up with the scent of paint and surrounded by paper, ink, paints and brushes. Yerka was thinking about studying astronomy or medicine, but identified paint appropriate before his last test and thus entered the mysterious entire world of colors. The artist was mostly inspired by XV century Dutch tablet paintings.

The vibrant world of Julie Heffernan

The vibrant world of Julie Heffernan

Julie Heffernan creates sensuous figurative painting, like co-Yale MFAS, John Currin and Linda Yuskavage, but her luminous oils are patently unique among them and most working artists today. A Victorian impetus to conjoin, edging toward pastiche, creates artfully staged Surrealist environments. Read more The vibrant world of Julie Heffernan

Psychological landscapes by Alex Gross

Psychological landscapes by Alex Gross

The existential vacuum is the psychological landscape that Alex Gross presents in Future Tense. A lengthy parade of characters lost in their cell phones, iPads and computers find themselves in worlds of neon-lit supermarkets, billboard infested metropolises, and naturalistic countryside panoramas. Most of his characters appear bored and distracted. His work exposes the result of corporate-dictated mass culture and our inability to be present and interact with the real world. Alex Gross’ paintings remind us, through a blend of symbolic and literal elements, that it is impossible to escape the domination of corporations and consumerism. Let’s Murder the Moder Arts

Cut the crap and be brutally honest: modern generally speaking means quite tasteless or even worst. That’s a fact. Art is not about express yourself anymore, but about kissing asses to cash in eventually. It helps if you’re mindlessly gay or at least bisexual, if you have at least a Jewish promoter and – most of all – if you don’t have a clue what you’re talking, singing, painting, writing and generally, doing about. It’s better to be black, Hispanic or from China, Caucasian is so fuckin’ boring and ordinary! You need – it’s hopelessly mandatory – Facebook, Twitter and… Botox.
My name is… Picasso. Let’s Murder the Modern Arts! Read more Let’s Murder the Moder Arts

“I’m not a puppet, I am a grenade… I’m not an artist, I’m a fucking work of art, I’ve got an F and a C and I got a K too And the only thing that’s missing is you! I’ve got an F and a C and I got a K too And the only thing that’s missing is a bitch like you!” (Marilyn Manson – Vodevil/(s)AINT)
Well, blogging it’s fucking nice, but don’t pay the bills. On the other hand I’m pretty bored by all that facebook-like strictly formal socializing and meaningless, useless and mainly fake (“as the wedding cake”) giving likes shit. Seriously. It makes no any sense and no use for it. Actually, may I add you as ENEMY because I’m fucking sick of friends like you. (“I wasn’t born with enough middle fingers…”) 😀 Read more Paintings on sell

Love and other oddities

There’s a thin line between love and hate and sometimes we may slip over without noticing. Don’t matter how weird it may sounds, extremes over-lapping each other and sometimes melt into one. There’s a small step from indifference to desire, as well as between love and hate and back all over. The human being are a strange creature and there’s no Freudian coach to explain our weirdness. Any attempt to create any kind of pattern to explain the human behavior I believe it’s useless. We are same as we are absolutely unique and different. The human soul is a muddy and unexplainable universe.
Actually I believe we don’t have the same reaction regarding the same particular aspect at different moments on the time line. And not only because things and we are changing. Just because. Emotions have no patterns, our reaction is unpredictable. Things which may be unacceptable from our point of view once, today or tomorrow may stir up our interest. That’s how we really are even if it’s hard to accept, it’s difficult to face our self. Read more Love and other oddities
