Free download, this is the debut, self-titled album released last year by the Russian band from Norilsk/Moscow.
Anton – Guitar, Andrey – Guitar, Vlad – Bass, Evgeny – Drums, and Vitaly – Vocal, created a murderous mixture of Death Metal, Grindcore and modern Metal with some experimental, progressive resonances and turns, reminding me of The Dillinger Escape Plan. The “Intro” sounds almost sweet only that the following “Oceanbound” can blow in your face ten tons harder.
Sick and intense, almost not human.
Extremely technical passages, furious and fast grindings, unidentified noises, killer riffs and pounding drums with mind-bowing, bloody howling are alternated by calm, sometimes acoustic, musical, almost sweet passages, moments. Then like in a horror movie everything turns upside down and they gonna cut you in small pieces without hesitation.
The over 14 minutes of the closing “The Icebreaker” is one of my favorites and a hell of a trip, but these Russian guys definitively find something special, and worth to memorize their name, the future is wide open.
