NeWBReeD was founded in 1999 and they’re coming from Bielsko-Biala, Poland. “NeWBReeD” is their fifth studio release and they play a mixture of complex, technical, modern metal with progressive and avant-garde elements.
This is a quite intense and unique blending of styles and elements, NeWBReeD delivered a kind of psychotic, contorted, but colourful metal, technical, but still soulful, complex, but well structured and not airless, suffocating.
10 songs, “NeWBReeD” is a quite exciting trip to take. Slow, sometimes smooth, sometimes mysterious passages and intense, twisted moments are perfectly build into a modern, breathing and heavy – metal experiment.

Thomas Wolonciej (guitars, voc) and Stanley Wolonciej (drums) form the band in Bielsko – Biala with Paul GawÅ‚owski (bass) in October 1999. Andy Czul replaced Paul GawÅ‚owski and guitarist Thomas Czul join the band in 2001 and released their official debut tape, “The New Way of Human Existence” in 2002.
“Lost” was released one year later, meantime the band play and tour intensely.
Piotr BiaÅ‚kowski (guitars) replace Thomas Czul in 2004 and beside touring they start the recordings of “If I were the Rain”, released next year.
In 2007 they released the next material, “Child of the Sun” and participate on a Tribute to The Sisters Of mercy with the song “Lucretia (My Reflection)”.
Recording session of “NeWBReed” started in 2010 and took almost a year. It was a considerable effort, but the result worth every single minute spent on it.
