Richard Cheese – Live At The Royal Wedding (2011)

Prince William and Catherine Middleton get married. Who gives a shit? Well, it seems a few million of idiots from all over the world. I asked this, I ask again: we’re getting retarded? Yes, we do, because, yes, we can. I don’t wanna sound disrespectful, but hey, what’s so fuckin’ special about already balding Williams? Except the fact that he won the birth lottery and instead born in Somalia and starving to death he was born at St Mary’s Hospital, London, in the right freaky family, well, I think there’s nothing special about this dude. And well, being short, fuck the Pope, fuck the Royal Family, and generally speaking: fuck everybody! (Who’s volunteering to be the first? 😀 )
On 29 April 2011, Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine performed at the royal wedding reception for Prince William & Catherine Middleton in London, England! 😆 The album captures this live “cocktail hour” performance, featuring 15 romantic love songs recorded live at Buckingham Palace. Well, actually I don’t think so, but still, we’ve got a new live recording of Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine.
And this guy is fucking funny, don’t matter what. And his transcription of famous songs into swing jazz and Vegas taste-like shows, are actually genius. This new CD include songs such as “Baby Got Back,” “Under Pressure,” “Gin And Juice,” “Rehab,” “Helter Skelter,” “Down With The Sickness,” “Anarchy In The U.K.,” “Closer,” “Smack My Bitch Up,” “My Neck, My Back,” “Rape Me,” “Pussy Control,” “Too Drunk To Fuck,” “Creep”, etc.
Mark Jonathan Davis, born Nov. 27, 1965 in New York and known by his stage name Richard Cheese launch his Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine back in 2000 as a cover band and comedy act, performing popular songs in a lounge/swing style reminiscent of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett.

Studio albums

Lounge Against the Machine (2000)
Tuxicity (2002)
I’d Like a Virgin (2004)
Aperitif for Destruction (2005)
Silent Nightclub (2006)

Two new projects are also scheduled to be released: “Let It Brie” and “Back In Black Tie”. If you’re not totally retarded, Richard Cheese will cheer up your day. Brits seems not to enjoy very much the Lounge Against the Machine and the humor of Richard, but well, since on that bloody island everybody is related to everybody and even Elton John became Sir, I’m not quite surprised. I guess I made myself a couple of new friends from the Commonwealth… 🙂 Fuck them too! You know the song: People = Shit.
This live probably it’s not the very best of Richard Cheese, but still, it’s fun and refreshing. Richard may not have royal blood, but hell yeah, he’s a king!
Still, one question stands: why Princess Leia and Lord Vader weren’t invited?
