Eve

In ancient Hebrew “messiah” and “snake” were the same word. Think about it. It is possible that Eve (“the living”) actually lead Adam (“dust”) out of the dark by offering him the forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge at the urging of the Savior? Dangerous supposition… It flips all the concepts and prejudices we’re comfortable with. Do not know if this is true or not, but I know I can not be so stupid to exclude any possibility before I think about. I keep wondering why for centuries the church insisted on “believe and do not search”. Whatthey really hiding? And why? The generally accepted version of the New Testament  is a collection of texts selected and censored. The clergy have decided what we should and should not know. Church argued for years that the Earth is the center of the universe (and the only planet), stating vehemently that the earth is flat … And so on. Read more Eve

Between good and evil

To locate an object in space you need two reference points. In the case of a human being this two points are the good and the evil. We were taught to choose between good and evil. But what you’ll gonna do if you find out that good and evil are not two different reference points, but one and only? Are we kind of lost?
Every human being is absolutely singular and unique. But we were taught to compare our self with others and from the cradle to the grave we’re always in competition with somebody else. School, sports and jobs, sometimes even love are about being in competition, we are always desperately want to be better than the others, we want to be the best and, ironically, not to be our self. We were educated to be above everybody, to have a bigger car, a better house, a higher position and a prettier wife. It’s such a waste of energy and after all a waste of our own life and identity. Triangles

God is an old guy with some weird beard and a strange kind of humor? I prefer not to think about him that way.
Rather I prefer to think about him as a beautiful woman. And my relation with God is an intimate one based on love and respect, rather then on fear and submission.
For years I was reading the Bible to obtain a portrait of God, but I dig out only pictures of a furious, vengeful, cruel and yeah, impulsive guy who seems to hate us all from his guts. Well, I guess is not his fault that some men thousand years ago got the wrong picture.
But it’s for sure our fault to maintain false approaches of this subject.
When Jesus came into the picture he tried to do the first major rebranding operation and we all had to admit it, he done a pretty good PR job. It was messy, but it worked out. Maybe not the way as Jesus – or God – planed, I’m not that sure they are happy about who hi-jacked their name and twisted their message, but it’s not the issue now.
No matter what language you use, whether you translate or transliterate, YHWH’s name means “I am that I am”. Read more Triangles

Hod [Splendor]

“Hod (“Majesty”; הוד) in the Kabbalah of Judaism is the eighth sephira of the Kabbalistic tree of life. It is derived from hod הוד in the Hebrew language meaning “majesty” or “splendor” and denoting “praise” as well as “submission”.
Hod sits below Gevurah and across from Netzach in the tree of life; Yesod is to the south-east of Hod. It has four paths, which commonly lead to Gevurah, Tiphereth, Netzach, and Yesod.
All the sephirot are likened to different parts of the body, and netzach and hod are likened to the two feet of a person: right foot and left foot. Feet are usually only the means for a person’s activity. While the hands are the main instrument of action, the feet bring a person to the place where he wishes to execute that action.
Hasidic Judaism’s view of Hod is that it is connected with Jewish prayer. Prayer is seen as form of “submission”; Hod is explained as an analogy – that instead of “conquering” an obstacle in one’s way, (which is the idea of Netzach), subduing oneself to that “obstacle” is related to the quality of Hod. Chemical Wedding (2008)

Many times, many people asked me about Aleister Crowley. Crowley was at least an interesting figure above all the facts and fictions around him, his life, his works and… Magick. Some says he was nothing, but a clown or worst, a pervert, others argue on he was a genius or a madman. Oscar Wilde said “Aleister Crowley is a madman who thinks he is Aleister Crowley” – and I think this is the essence of everything we possibly can say about Crowley before we getting ridiculous.
Crowley has remained an influential figure and is widely thought of as the most influential occultist of all time, but also he gained widespread notoriety during his lifetime, and was denounced in the popular press of the day as “the wickedest man in the world” because of his eccentricity. Crowley enjoyed being a figure of controversy and frequently deliberately provoked it among his peers and in the media. I actually read a lot about Crowley and I read most of his writings as well, but more as I read, more confused I get. And “Chemical Wedding”, the film directed by Julian Doyle based on an original screenplay by Bruce Dickinson, the frontman of Iron Maiden, will not bring you further to the truth. Devour – The Sacred Union of Opposites

Ancient traditions over the world honor the sacred union of male and female and recognize the importance of balancing the masculine and feminine elements within each of us, as well as in the external world.  I’m kind of obsessed with this dualistic perspective of splitting “things” in Good and Evil, right and wrong, black and white, man and woman, us and them, and so on.There is no light without shadow, I think we denominated and divided one thing into two only to handle them easier, but meanwhile we create turbulence, disharmony and dis-functions. Unhappiness is generated by this kind of disequilibrium. The union between feminine and masculine energies, yin and yang, (Shakti and Shiva), is the basis for harmony in all of life. The understanding of our self and  the correct understanding of our relation with others, the balanced understanding  of male and female communion, will bring back not only the joy of life, but will reconnect us with the universe and the others. Therefore, we are in desperate need of a sense in our own existence which is in accord with the physical facts and which overcomes our feeling of alienation from the universe. The Love Doves

“Love” is a Magick word, in fact, one of the most powerful words. Forget about “Abracadabra” or any other Magick formula you heard. I believe it’s directly a sin  to throw around this word, spitting it out without being conscious of its power, without we really mean what we say. Actually I’m almost scared to use this word knowing its power. Love is also one of the most powerful forms of energy. Love is all around. And naturally Love is free. Love is sharing, Love is communication and exchange.
Biological models of sex tend to view love as a mammalian drive, much like hunger or thirst.Helen Fisher, a leading expert in the topic of love, divides the experience of love into three partly overlapping stages: lust, attraction, and attachment. Lust exposes people to others; romantic attraction encourages people to focus their energy on mating; and attachment involves tolerating the spouse long enough to rear a child into infancy.
Psychology depicts love as a cognitive and social phenomenon. Psychologist Robert Sternberg formulated a triangular theory of love and argued that love has three different components: intimacy, commitment, and passion.
Love is central to many religions, as in the Christian phrase, “God is love”. But Love becomes “embedded” and even “forbidden”, Love becomes synonymous with shame, dirt and filth… Read more The Love Doves
