Lands of Past – Neverending Story (2012)

Lands Of Past is chemistry like love. Or magnetism. Dark vibes, gloomy depths and sensitive, smooth, whisper-like melodies and intense guitar riffs are merged together to guide us through Heaven and Hell, a journey of lights and shadows, hopes and fears, love and desperation, hate and forgiveness. This is our endless journey and our neverending story. This is our life, and this is love. Sadness and struggle.
After the self produced demo entitled “Call” released in 2005 and the debut album released through Thundering Records in 2008, “Call Of The Depths”, Lands Of Past are back with 10 brand new, dark, melancholic and disturbing tracks on their second full-lenght “Neverending Story”.

Fans of Metal and classical music, Quero Alexandra and Jablonski Olivier met each other and formed the project in 2000. In 2004 Asphodel joined the band to barrow her voice and complete the band’s sound and fulfill the musical and lyrical concept.
Next year Gwendoline Franchi joined the band adding the cello to their sound, followed by Vince and guitarist and arranger Sebastien Ortega and this line-up released the band’s first demo.
They singed to Thundering Records and in 2008 released their debut album.
Asphodel and Vince leave the band, Thundering Records goes out of business, but Oliver won’t let his dream fading away. Having Quero Alexandra and Ortega Sebastien on his side, they write the material for a new album and Ilinca Marche Kiss has been chosen as the new lead singer. Stefanny Vlaeminck is taken as second singer and Lands of Past are fully functional and delivering their second full-length, a delicious and dark combination of melancholic and ethereal soundscapes with dark vibe and heavy guitar riffing.
