A year is a unit of time defined by the duration it takes for the Earth to complete one orbit around the Sun. In scientific terms, the tropical year is approximately 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 45 seconds long, while the sidereal year is about 20 minutes longer.
The spring, the starting point of the cosmic year, is the Spring Equinox, which in the Northern Hemisphere occurs in March, between the 19th and 21.
According to the Gregorian civil calendar, the new year begins on March 20, at 14:46 UTC.
In my opinion, it is the beginning of the year 1796. It’s debatable, and I have written about it a couple of times, explaining my opinion and calculations. What really matters is to be aware that the Gregorian calendar is an artificial construct, and it’s inappropriate for esoteric operations. I keep on repeating this, like a broken record, because most people stubbornly refuse to acknowledge it. Why? Because if they would accept reason, the whole charade called numerology would go out the window. It’s a kind reminder, but don’t forget that the general view even 500 years ago was that the Earth is the centre of the universe and our solar system. People who dared to contradict that unanimously accepted standard were burned at the stake. Surprise! The quasi-majority was deadly wrong. Sadly, we haven’t evolved a bit, and we still mistake technological development for progress.
It’s the beginning of a new year, and I have never felt more lost and afraid.
Instead of peace, the Americans brought more war, and instead of finding better ways to live in prosperity and harmony, we prefer to screw or kill each other more savagely. What is even more alarming is that if America fails, it will not be the failure of the Trump administration or the Republicans, but it will be the downfall of the entire Western civilisation. Here we are!
When I was a teenager, almost 40 years ago, I needed money for cinema tickets, sweets, and occasionally, to purchase secondhand vinyl records smuggled from the West. Life was simple. Sure, I have smoked cigarettes at 15 and got drunk for the first time by 16, but those were the extravagances of adolescence. I still read tons of books and got my bachelor’s degree on time.
Drugs, the internet, and technological development pretty much destroyed humanity. We could discuss processed foods, pollution, the environment, and the negative effects of the electromagnetic fields. Or the bad influence of lobbying and systemic corruption.
One last thing: almost nothing that we have been told and taught is true. We have been constantly lied to and manipulated about virtually everything.
While our parents left us in a relatively clean and safe world, what we leave behind to the next generation is a disaster. And it’s our mess, but we refuse to see it and clean it up.
Happy New Year and G_d help us all!
