Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Piesa de 2,43 minute a fost imprimată în Abbey Road Studio de John Lennon – voce, chitară; Paul McCartney – bas, voce;George Harrison – chitară, voce și Ringo Starr – tobe, tambourin în perioada 24-25 septembrie 1968 și lansat în noiembrie în același an pe albumul dublu „The Beatles” cunoscut și ca „The White Album” fiind a 8-a piesă a primului disc.

Piesa este creditată ca fiind o compoziție Lennon/McCartney, însă Lennon povestea că este o construcție din diferite piese, teme compuse de el și legate iar textul cu profunde conotații sexuale a fost cenzurată (ne-difuzată) de BBC. Era începutul relației Lennon-Yoko și al tensiunilor sexuale pozitive… 🙂 S-a vorbit și despre heroină, dar Lennon a negat această interpretare.
