Panzanellas – Fagiano Unrequited Love (2013)

Panzanellas Fagiano Unrequited Love 2013 A little bit of color, life and madness from Firenze, Italy. Panzanellas is an experimental free jazz project formed by saxophonist Francesco Li Puma (the bass player of Atomik Clocks), guitarist Stefano Spataro (of Hysm? Duo) and drummers Marco Ruggiero (of Atomik Clocks), respectively Mattia Betti (of Umanzuki).
Build around the free rides and adventurous melodies of the saxophone, this is a journey of exploration and tripping in a Coltrane flavoured, gloomy, sometimes weird, but throughout expressive world of experimental/avant-garde music. Not for everybody, not for the the average or occasional music consumers, but for those who have ear for free music and border-less explorations.
Can grab it even for free (“name your price”), can share it, but most of all, listen it and enjoy it! Read more Panzanellas – Fagiano Unrequited Love (2013)

Lobotomic Cohesion – Of The Missteps And The Wounds (2013)

Lobotomic Cohesion Of The Missteps And The Wounds 2013 Actually don’t know anything about this project, anything else that it was conceived at Warszawa, Poland, this is the second chapter of their journey into the wilderness of noises and it’s for FREE DOWNLOAD at their Bandcamp page. So, grab it, share it, announce your neighbors and friends, scream loud as you can.
This is an exploration of sounds and secrets, a ride on rhythmic noise layers, gloomy soundscapes, a contorted combination of breakbeats and industrial fueled Gothic vibe. Sometimes strange, sometimes quite cinematic, but troubled throughout, this could be perfect for the soundtrack of a weird movie. But definitively it have its exciting moments as “Outsiders”, “Lizard On Ice”, “Beautiful Day”, and “It’s Just Too Painful”. Read more Lobotomic Cohesion – Of The Missteps And The Wounds (2013)

ANiMAL-MUSIC Releases Jump Music Video & FREE Download

ANiMAL-Jump The underground is over-populated with better then better bands and artist, unfortunately not always the best of them hit the surface. ANiMAL kicked out from the London’s EBM/Dubstep underground in late 2011. The three piece band consists of drums, laptop and guitar/vocals, started with a regular DJ takeover on Modestep Radio progressing onto guest mixes for Mista Jam on Radio 1Xtra and The Remix Show on XFM. Starting in 2012 ANiMAL went on to tour most of Europe playing at sold out Bass and EDM nights as well as some high profile supports.
The musical style is Punk meets Bass, kind of The Prodigy versus Sex Pistols, and definitively, this is quite a winner merge of styles and sounds, although, already experimented and bring to master level by their bad-ass homies, Subsource. Punkstep it’s a sold tag already, but still, ANiMAL it’s one of the more interesting bands pretty anxious to claim the throne.
After “The Animal Cage”, and “Mind Reader”, now ve’ve got “Jump” – featuring Mary Magdalan -, a new video and free download. What I like about ANiMAL it’s the humor. Can’t take them really seriously, but I admit, at least they are funny and sounding fat enough. Read more ANiMAL-MUSIC Releases Jump Music Video & FREE Download

Rorcal – Vilagvege (2013)

It’s something wrong with me, or it’s something wrong with the world. I’m on the edge and this seems to be a hard decision, because I can’t make up my mind if I am crazy, or the rest of the world it’s crazy. This new type of post-everything – including the yet unborn/undone – kind of depressive and noisy whatever metal/rock/hardcore it’s murderous. Literally. If you feel good about yourself – accidentally – you will commit suicide anyway after listen into it. It’s kind of conquest who can make you kill yourself first I guess. Who can deliver the most gloomiest and chaotic hurricane of noises. This world it’s full of shit, I know, people are full of shit, I know that too, but you don’t have to remind me this constantly. I know!
Apocalypse? Perhaps. Definitively it’s something very wrong with this species and it deserves to parish. But man, I’m a sentimental old fool, I love a good cup of vine, I love to watch a beautiful sunrise, well, I love to f*ck, and I love to listen music. Among a few other things. I’m 43 years old, listening music for all my life and do some music by my own and with several bands for more then two decades now. I’m kind of alarmed that one of the best albums I had listen lately was “People, Hell & Angels”, a posthumous album of Jimi Hendrix with recordings from sessions in 1968 and ’69.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m not a hippie or something!! I love down-tuned guitars as well as extreme metal. If it makes any sense. Read more Rorcal – Vilagvege (2013)

Josh Money – The Petrine Cross (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Josh Money took his first piano lesson at age 5 and later studied classical composition, guitar, and piano at Macon State. After hearing the music of producer BT, he learned that his true passion was producing behind a computer. With indie film and video game scoring already under his belt thanks to programs at Full Sail University and an audio engineer position at EA Games, Josh began producing full-time in 2010 out of his home studio in Orlando. Focusing on a darker, heavier side of electronic music, Josh experimented with elements of dubstep, metal, and advanced classical theory. This newer sound caught the ear of veteran UK producer Deekline, who immediately signed Josh’s first dubstep release to Sludge Records. Josh took the EDM world by storm with his single “Let Go With You”, which dominated Beatport’s Dubstep chart, staying at the #2 slot for 6 weeks. After remixing Celldweller’s “I Can’t Wait”, Josh Money has joined Celldweller’s FiXT label to continue his attack on the charts. “The Petrine Cross” is a sick, contorted, noisy, dubstep fueled EBM track. EarthBound – The Tales of EarthBound (2013)

EarthBound, known in Japan as Mother, is a role-playing video game series created by Shigesato Itoi for Nintendo. The series started in 1989 with the Japan-only release of Mother (planned to be released in North America as “Earth Bound”) for the Famicom, and was then followed up by a sequel, released in North America as EarthBound for the Super NES in 1995, and followed up again 12 years later with the Japan only release of Mother 3 for the Game Boy Advance in 2006. Itoi stated in an interview that the name “Mother” was greatly influenced by the John Lennon song “Mother”.
About the EarthBound trio it was damn difficult to dig out useful informations, although I find them on Facebook, Bandcamp, Soundcloud and YouTube. It seems they are an Australian band and probably “The Tales of EarthBound” it’s their debut album, as they declare, “a conceptual journey through a mystical musical land called Cleftopia.” Actually, this is a simultaneously familiar and refreshing adventure around several very famous and recognizable rock themes with a great combination of rock, funk, jazz and blues elements. Incredible talented musicians, great instrumentalists. All of them.
Joe Jeremiah – Keys, Jon “Oshy” Ooi – Drums and Jonathan “Menjeed” Mengede – Bass manage to twist in and out and back again some great themes and tied up together several different songs and at the bottom line it’s sound brand new, fresh and their own. Some things were out of my knowledge, I wasn’t able to identify precisely the source, but almost every passage sounded familiar. I’m still thinking of “Simple Bloom” and its tango flavoured aroma. Electric Worry – Back to Motor City, EP (2013)

Electric Worry Back to Motor City 2013 Pierre (Bass – Vocal), Léo (Guitar) and Batiste (Drum) are the members of the French stoner rock band Electric Worry and ” Back to Motor City” it’s their four track debut EP – Digital album: name your price/free; limited edition CD for €5 at their Bandcamp page.
Although they choose their name inspired by the American band Clutch (track 6 from their 2007’s released, eighth studio album entitled “From Beale Street to Oblivion”), and they are singing in English, as a genuine French band, I did not find one single word in English about them on their official internet profiles and pages. Well, my French sucks – a lot – merde!! On the other hand, translator softwares are freaking fun, so, I’m not gonna bitching more about it. But if the band really thinking of reach out a larger audience over the borders of France, at least an official bio in English, would be nice.
But then again, this is a cool band (I mean f*ckin’ heavy!!) and they worth – at least – a listen. Read more Electric Worry – Back to Motor City, EP (2013)
