Shrapnel Streetwear Launches EDM/Bass Music Inspired Clothing Line for 2013

Shrapnel-Streetwear-Dubstep-Clothing-Messinian December 14th, 2012, Las Vegas, NV – EDM/Bass Music-Inspired clothing line, Shrapnel Streetwear has just announced their 2013 Collection, available now, exclusively from FiXTstore.com.
Since the streetwear brand’s inception, they have become a favorite among the bass music elite, repped by artists like Excision, Sluggo, Liquid Stranger, Ajapai, Dirty Talk, Messinian, and Jonathan Davis of Korn & Killbot to name a few.
Shrapnel Streetwear has quickly become synonymous in the underground EDM world with authentic dubstep fashion, while large retailers like Hot Topic have made attempts to jump on the dubstep bandwagon from the corporate level. Sporting dubstep shirts with nothing more than a standard font, displaying unimaginative terms may appeal to some, Shrapnel can be seen as the antithesis of such an approach to cash in or to target the lowest common denominator. They have instead featured unique designs that stay true to the integrity and futurism of bass heavy musical styles, as well as delivering a style that mirrors the inspiration of Bass Music culture as a whole.

With the 2013 Collection, Shrapnel puts it’s foot forward as a complete lifestyle brand.
With the Shrapnel 2013 collection, the brand strives to further define street fashion from within the Bass Music culture. From New Era snapbacks to cutting edge all over printed tees, Shrapnel has expanded its focus well beyond its striking graphic designs and 3D graphics. Introducing several women’s items including off the shoulder crop tops, racerbank tanks, and attention-grabbing full color printed tights. New men’s items also include brand new tees, tanks, hoodies, and accessories.

The collection lookbook is filled with futuristic imagery, showing mid-battle moments set against apocalyptic backgrounds. Vividly depicting cyborgs and androids in the midst of a world at war. Shot in collaboration with Fadewood Studios, each image is a digital piece of art designed to evoke chaos and spark conversations.

Behind the brand itself are Devin Taylor and Zach Gibson, two bass music die-hards as well as experienced business owners and artists. Taylor is a talented graphic artist and designer, responsible for all of the Shrapnel design work and lending his design skill to create merch designs for artists like Excision, Figure, Sluggo, and Celldweller, as well as some of today’s hottest bands like Falling In Reverse and Motionless In White.
